DIY Weddings

Flowers can be more than mere backdrop on your special day—they can be part of the main event, and a way to fill your venue with vibrant character and living abundance.

I love working with couples to fulfill their floral dreams, while offering sliding-scale rates, and only using regeneratively grown, in-season blooms.

How DIY Weddings work:

  • Fill out this form to share a little more about your wedding wants and needs.
  • We’ll then chat and agree on a plan & budget.
  • Just before your big day, I’ll harvest your preferred flowers and greenery from my gardens and surrounding land.
  • With the provided blooms, you’ll collaborate with your friends & family to install your own gorgeous florals.

For Taylor and James’ September wedding, I provided eight buckets of flowers for pickup the day prior to their wedding. Included in this were 13 small arrangements, each containing one single type of symbolically meaningful flower or herb chosen by the member of the bridal party who was to carry it. As the couple’s family and friends walked down the aisle during the ceremony procession, each placed a sprig from their monochrome bouquet into the couple’s central bouquet, creating a beautiful visualization of their loved ones’ support and good wishes. The couple then dried this larger arrangement, and has it as a meaningful wedding keepsake.

The flowers were such a highlight of the ceremony and reception. Seeing every part of the space come to life in vibrant blooms was amazing enough, but the flower aspect of our ceremony was completely unforgettable. The small bouquets you made and the rest of the harvest were simply perfect.”

As I am writing this now, I am looking at some dried arrangements made that day and we are so excited that they will remain as keepsakes for a long time to come.”
